OK, Kiddies.. Here are some flyers from my collection scanned for your veiwing pleasure. These old flyers are a definite form of pop art. If you are an old punk (especially from the Los Angeles area), you might remember a few of these flyers. If you are a younger fan of punk, kick back and check out the way we used to do things before we had the internet. We actually had to make our flyers by hand. Manually. With no Microsoft Word 2000 to help us out. Yeah, we used to cut and paste, but back then it meant using scissors and a glue stick. Then we'd get someone's mom or dad to run off copies at work, then go out and physically pass out flyers at gigs and record stores. We also used to staple them to telephone poles. What a concept, huh?

Most of these flyers are from 1980 to 1985 from the L.A.-O.C. area. Most of them were used as wallpaper for my bedroom at my dad's house in West Covina, CA where I grew up. Alot of them have creases, rips, tears, blood sweat and beer stains, and other blemishes, but that only adds to their charactar. I wish I could give you exact dates of all the different shows depicted on these flyers, but I can't even remember which shows I was actually at much less the dates. If by some miracle I do remember some data concerning a certain gig, I will provide that info, but that will be a rare occassion. Enjoy !
